Selection of waders in Kildare today. This is the only group (9 today, but there were 10) of Curlew I know of in the county, and they have been observed at least 6 times in this same field since 25th Sept. '23. Will some of them attempt a nest in Kildare in 2024?

Cliff walk Ardmore, the common or viviparous lizard (Zootoca vivipara) is Ireland’s only native species of reptile. This fascinating reptile gives birth to live young, a rarity in the reptile world, where most species lay eggs in order to reproduce. (ref. iwt.ie)
