Waffen SS Girl The 5th SS Division "Wiking" was one of the better-known military units of the Waffen-SS. Its ranks consisted partly of volunteers from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Scandinavia, but it was exclusively commanded by Germans. Fought mostly on the eastfront.

@DJPuppet5 According to anecdote Fritz Darges was sent to eastern front to serve in Wiking division after a failed joke to Hitler. Joke was about annoying fly that Hitler asked to remove but Fritz said thats the task for the Air Force.
