@troygumble742 @FiresideYankees I really dont see this as a “slight” upgrade. If you really break it down he’s been successful in a lineup with no true protection around him. Insert him in the Yankee lineup and his numbers will increase, especially if he’s at the top of the lineup with Judge & others

Stupid to trade assets to upgrade slightly at a position that is not one of their main lineup problems. After the trade, they’d still have the same lineup holes at SS, 3B, C, and CF. Unless they fix 2 of those 4 with above average bats, they will very likely be knocked out easily again next October.
