I was recently awarded the inaugural @UNH_CEPS UG Mentoring Award. I have always said that Mentoring Awards is the biggest achievement any faculty member can reach. And I am amazed that this is the second mentoring award I have received in the past 4 years.

Dr. Furgal was officially promoted and tenured to Associate Professor and we received a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to build materials for nitric oxide release to reduce blood clots and infections in long stay hospital patients.
