@tedcruz Given today's attitudes, there was no need for the attack on Pearl Harbor when they could have just marched across our borders, Trump would have palled around with Hitler and Mussolini like he does with Putin and Erdogan, while hassling Britain.

@GordonGChang But how can that be? Xi promised President Trump that he wouldn't send arms to Iran. Xi wouldn't lie, not to the President, his good friend. Help me out, I'm confused.

A Chinese company is planning to transfer up to 400 shoulder-fired missiles to Iran. We must close off all the routes that China can use to make deliveries.

@JohnnyNash77 Why? Notice the pattern of Trump's relationships: He tends to prefer hobnobbing with bigshots, because then his vain ego can bask in the glow of fame, or infamy, it doesn't matter. The Shah is a good guy, but he's just not powerful enough right now.

Why doesn’t Trump meet with the Shah, Reza Pahlavi⁉️ It seems that he is more interested still in his love affair with Ghalibaf. The regime all mock Trump, continuously threaten him and his family. Iran will NEVER be Venezuela..

Trump has recently gotten assurances from his good buddy, Chinese Premier Xi, that China would not provide weapons to Iran. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I see this Reuters headline: "Iran to get Chinese shoulder-launched missile systems in weeks, sources say". Sounds like Xi is lying, and probably thinks Trump is a chump. Shocker! So, what are we going to do about it? Enquiring minds want to know.

@AmbJohnBolton Gen Z Americans view China much more favorably than older Americans, consistent with their views on other adversaries. Since they are the future, it will be increasingly difficult to meet major foreign policy challenges as time goes on, assuming trends hold.

China’s rapid progress is ending the bipolar nuclear era. In a tripolar nuclear environment, sapping America’s resolve could win a nuclear confrontation without a shot being fired. We should be thinking more about how we will resist Beijing’s influence. afr.com/policy/foreign…

Germany: ‘The queer community naturally feels threatened, above all, by right-wing forces’ This is, of course, howlingly absurd, for it is not “right-wing forces” whose belief system tells them to murder homosexuals; it is Islamic jihadis whose belief system tells them to do that. Yet the leftist media, and leftists in general, are so self-deluded that they actually believe that Islam is peaceful and tolerant, and that only racist, bigoted “Islamophobes” think otherwise. No amount of evidence will convince them otherwise; they hold this view as if it were a cherished religious dogma, and for them, it is. Read more at the link in the next post.

@AmbJohnBolton China is well on the way towards total control of the South China Sea and is hollowing out Western manufacturing via patent theft and export dumping. China is also expanding its military and nukes big time. It's now Public Enemy Number One and it may win.

@MikeJohnson I've had very severe criticisms of Pres. Trump and others, but it would be a cold day in Hell before I'd vote for the Democrats. As Robert Spencer succinctly put it, it's a choice between stupid and evil. I guess stupid wins.

In 100 days, the people of this country have a critical choice: common sense or crazy. As the Democrat Party surrenders to the extreme far Left, Republicans continue to deliver for the American people. But we aren't finished yet. It's time to choose between our country and communism. It's a contrast for America, and the choice is YOURS.

Trump has rebuked Netanyahu for his opposition to Turkey getting the F35s despite Erdogan's having jailed his opposition, his support for Hamas and threats to Israel and Greece. Trump claims Turkey is a great ally and that Erdogan is a good friend of his, and that nobody can tell him who he can sell weapons to, even if it upsets the balance of power in the region in favor of an autocratic, Islamist regime. This is a good example of Trump's prioritizing his personal relationships over stategic considerations, to say nothing of his crude dismissal of Netanyahu's legitimate concerns.

Tucker Carlson: “Qatar is a lot better for the United States than Israel has been— A LOT BETTER!” He urges his audience to visit Qatar to see it for themselves, claims there’s a lot of “falseness” about it, and says it can be a true ally to the US.

@DrNeilStone Trump is rightfully concerned that the Iran war is hurting the Republicans, but his indecisive stop-and-go actions, lack of clear objectives and ability to communicate the rationale for the war increase the political cost. I hear "deal" and I cringe.

Trump’s Iran strategy has created the worst of both worlds. Hear me out: He started a war fought to improve America’s position in negotiations instead of imposing victory conditions, followed by negotiations that relieve Iran before those conditions are met. We are strongest when military & economic pressure force terms. Iran is strongest when it can delay, broaden the talks, trade temporary compliance for immediate relief and wait for American impatience to create another off-ramp. Trump has combined the costs of war with the weaknesses of negotiation and secured the benefits of neither.

@jihadwatchRS They're using the wrong munitions. Instead of trying to blast it out, they should drop glue on it to make it impassible. Either sodium silicate or epoxy resin would work. Gooey, but effective.

U.S. and Israel Will Be Comin’ Round Pickaxe Mountain When They Come by Hugh Fitzgerald We know now, from Israeli intelligence, that the Iranians have moved thousands of centrifuges and a store of enriched uranium into their deepest nuclear facility, 300 feet underground at the sonorously-named Pickaxe Mountain. The very name is somehow soothing to Americans; it sounds like a nonexistent Civil War battle (the Battle of Pickaxe Mountain, Tennessee). It also may put some in mind of Judge Kenesaw Mountain Landis, the first commissioner of Baseball, and also of Walter Huston, having put down his prospector’s pickaxe, dancing his jig in The Treasure of Sierra Madre. But Pickaxe Mountain in the Islamic Republic of Iran is no joke. It is there that the deepest, least penetrable, and therefore the most threatening, of Iran’s nuclear sites has been dug, to a depth of 300 feet. And it is now on the target list, according to President Donald Trump, of the Americans. But many questions remain. Can the American 30,000 pound bunker-buster bombs (MOPs, short for Massive Ordnance Penetrators) smash all the way through 300 meters of rock to destroy those centrifuges? And if they can’t, then what? Read more at the link in the next post.

It takes only 10 seconds for @senfettermanPA to boil down the core policy of his party’s far left progressives: “They’re running on just… just below the surface of… Jew-hating.” Exactly. What is disturbing is that Fetterman is the only elected official on the national scene calling it out. Why aren’t other party leaders condemning this sick trend on their far left?
