There is a sacred quiet in the room when a healer becomes a witness.
You see a man—handsome, kind, and carrying a burden that medicine hasn't yet found the key to unlock. But do not mistake his transition for a defeat. To face the "end of your days," as Eric Dane so hauntingly put it, is not to lose. To face "hell with dignity" is the ultimate human victory.
In Tuesdays with Morrie, we learned that "death ends a life, not a relationship." And in the next five years, the world will change. The "incurable" is being dismantled by brilliance and prayer, stone by stone. We are standing on the precipice of a dawn that is coming for everyone like him.
But until that cure arrives, we don't just wait. We live.
To this man: Your kindness is your rebellion. Your dignity is your strength. You are teaching us how to hold our heads high when the wind is at its fiercest.
To the daughters, the families, the "Billies and Georgias" of the world: You are the heart. You are the everything.
Fight. Hold your heads high. The light is coming.

We don’t have a classroom management problem.
We have an emotional regulation crisis that teachers are being asked to handle.
Somehow, “classroom management” has turned into:
• de-escalating trauma
• supporting anxiety and depression
• calming panic attacks
• being the counselor, social worker, and crisis team
• carrying emotional loads no one sees
And then we remove the very things that help like
recess, movement, art, play, connection.
Teachers aren’t trained for that.
They shouldn’t have to be.
Classroom management is about relationships, structure, routines, and connection.
It was never meant to replace what families, communities, and systems failed to provide.
And until we stop offloading every societal failure onto schools,
teachers will keep drowning under expectations no human can meet.

@bobpockrass I am disappointed of the lack of acknowledgment of the two teams that took this on this challenge on behalf of all. It’s not hard to say thank you .
