@CP24 Taxes were increased to improve service and yet it continues to get worse! Delays, shut downs and fare evasion continues to grow which is all attributed to weak leadership. TTC couldn’t find their way out of a paper bag if they tried.

@MayorOliviaChow Only under your leadership would pools be closed due to the heat! You and the antique councilors that supported that decision should be embarrassed and removed!

In addition to immediate actions to ensure pools stay open (in line with worker health and safety rules), I am introducing a motion this week that strengthens the City's response to extreme heat: - Deploying more water trucks for everyone and providing 500,000 water bottles to frontline agencies for people experiencing homelessness. (Note: the water trailers are out right now, this is so we can deploy them more frequently) - Reviewing the 2019 shift away from dedicated cooling centres towards the current heat relief approach. - Partnering with the Red Cross to expand outreach to vulnerable people during extreme heat. - Ensuring we have a system where medical professionals and others are on-call when heat threatens our ability to provide City pools for people, like on Sunday. A stronger response to extreme heat will help more people stay safe and healthy.

Good morning, Toronto! It was great chatting with commuters at Sherbourne TTC station as folks headed to work and school.

@MayorOliviaChow @MayorOliviaChow and her team should have planned properly. Toronto is a winter city and her team knew the storms were coming. She was to busy with her photo shoot vs getting the sitting running. Awful leadership and epic failure!

The current state of snow removal is unacceptable. While moving mountains of snow takes time, we must do better. This morning, I sent a letter to the City Manager and Auditor General urging improvements to the city's snow plowing and removal policies.

@CP24 Possibly @MayorOliviaChow shouldn’t have been busy doing her photo shoot with the City’s Crew following the storm and directing her team. Clearly not aware of her priorities! Clearing the tracks for TTC and other main arteries shouldn’t require a review. Maybe fire someone!

@CP24 What an embarrassment! @MayorOliviaChow and her counsel can’t figure out how to move traffic in this city. Road closures and lanes dropping are not coordinated and unauthorized parking is never addressed. TTC is not reliable generating more cars on the road.

@MayorOliviaChow With all the issues in the city today, this was a priority to @MayorOliviaChow! Clearly no line of sight on the priorities! Maybe she should start greeting the fare evaders on TTC.

This morning, I joined a snow removal crew in the east end as they cleared the streets. Thank you to Frank for the ride-along! Crews work 24/7, but clearing over 5,000 km takes time. If a street or sidewalk is missed, please call 311 to report it.

On Jan 16th an unjustified search was conducted by the vendor @nofrillsCA outsources security to. No frills has taken no ownership for this and cannot prove a response why I was searched. They choose to deflect me to the vendor then own the matter. It’s unacceptable. @CP24

@CP24 It is clear @MayorOliviaChow is playing Robin Hood and is not capable. Tax hikes can be reasonable however with no effective plan or action taken on TTC fare evasion, payroll issues in P&R identified by the auditor general and other miss-spending is not acceptable.

On Jan 16 I was targeted for shoplifting @nofrillsCA . Security followed me out of the store, searched my bags only to find out they were wrong. They couldn’t advise what they suspected I took. No Frills acknowledged my inquiry however have since gone silent. @CP24 @CTVToronto

@nofrillsCA I am concerned I was targeted for shop lifting in your store located at King & Shaw for no reason! The security officer followed me outside the store and searched my bag. He could not articulate what he thought I took or provide any reasonable explanation. Awful!
