[News] 🚨⚠️🦁 New details for World of Lion King at #DisneyAdventureWorld ➡️ The project, in development since 2022, began construction last year shortly after its permit was approved & promises a “unique & a deeper level of immersion than ever before". ➡️The entire #WorldofLionKing land will span more than 30,000 m², with a Pride Rock rising 37m high, and will also include: ➖ A 14,000 m² flume type attraction (largest show building ever constructed at #DisneylandParis) ➖ A shop integrated at the attraction exit, ➖ A food kiosk, restrooms, ➖ A character meet'n'greet area... ➡️ 🎢 The attraction will re-tell the story of Simba through its iconic musics across 19 scenes, featuring 2 lifts, 3 drops, combining bioluminescent technology, detailed environments or advanced Audio-Animatronics! But also: ➖ A gigantic final scene⚠️, ➖ A 16-meter final drop, ➖ A dual-platform loading station (more capacity). ➡️ 🌳 🇹🇿 Vegetation will rely on locally adapted plant species carefully shaped to recreate the African savanna atmosphere: ➖ Themed pathways & landscape designed to shield visual intrusions from Adventure Bay, ➖ A giant baobab tree dedicated to Rafiki, ➖ Buildings inspired by traditional Tanzanian architecture! ➡️ 🚧 Following the completion of major earthworks in late 2025, the project has now entered the vertical construction phase, marking the next stage in the development of this new immersive world: ➖ Follow step by step evolution, with aerials, analysis or live reports on #DLPWorks ➡️The first fully themed Lion King land ever created in a #Disney park by #WaltDisneyImagineering is led by Beth Clapperton (Awarded by prestigious TEA). ➖ Early models have already been reviewed by Disney Legends including Andreas Deja or Don Hahn.

[Live] 🚧🎈 Latest update on Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings from Parachute Drop! ➡️ Crews continue working on the roofs of the attraction buildings, while wooden formwork is also being installed around the window openings. ➡️ The center of the ride platform has been protected with wooden coverings as it awaits the installation of the central tower for the swing ride. #DisneylandParis

[Live] 🚧 Plaza Gardens refurbishment continues! ➡️ Themed tarps are expected to be installed in the coming days, as metal support frames have now been added to the scaffolding in preparation. ➡️ Much of the work is taking place out of sight, both backstage or inside the restaurant, as the project includes a complete refurbishment & major infrastructure upgrades. #DisneylandParis

[Live] 🦁🚧 Latest update on the World of Lion King construction! ➡️ Vertical construction continues, with new concrete walls being installed around the future water storage basin, where the support columns are located. ➡️ It appears that the final height has not yet been reached, although the structures are already clearly visible from guest pathways. ➡️ The technical & office building, visible on the right side of the photos, was the 1st structure to be built & remains the most advanced part of the project. #DisneylandParis

[News] ⚠️🚨 New visuals but Permit not validated yet, for the future Pathé cinema at #DisneyVillage! ➡️ Confirmed by Chessy Town Hall this morning, the building permit for the Pathé cinema refurbishment has not been granted yet. ➡️ However, #DisneylandParis has confirmed that works are expected to begin by the end of summer, with the new experience scheduled to open in 2027. ➡️ The refurbishment will be carried out in several phases, allowing the cinema to remain operational throughout the transformation. ➡️ Confirmed additions include: ➖Fully renovated auditoriums with recliner seats, ➖A new Pathé Café concept, ➖A new Pathé Games area, ➖A new Haagen-Dazs location. ➖ New Façade & design (visual shared by Pathé) ➡️ As previously revealed by #DLPWorks, we will publish the complete permit documents, architectural plans, and detailed modifications as soon as the permit is officially granted.

[Live] 🚧🏰 Latest update on the Sleeping Beauty Castle refurbishment! ➡️ The bridge tarps have received new themed artwork, while the refurbishment works are now entering their third month. ➡️ In front of the castle stage, scaffolding covered with themed tarps have appeared: ➖ This is likely related to works on the zinc-covered video projector housing located here. ℹ️ As a reminder, this marks the second reconstruction of the bridge following the 2010 refurbishment! #DisneylandParis

[Live] 🎺🎶 Final performance of the Minnie Marching Band on Adventure Way! ➡️ Tonight marked the final performance of this entertainment, which has brought energy to Disney Adventure World since its opening! ➡️ From Friday, July 24, a new Disney Princess Cavalcade featuring 4 parade floats will be performed 4 times daily! ➡️ We hope the Marching Band will return soon, perhaps even to World Premiere Plaza… why not? #DisneylandParis

[Live] 🚧🎈 Latest update on the future Up attraction! ➡️ With the main structural elements now in place, the first theming installations are currently underway. ➡️ Carpenters are building wooden formwork elements, which serve as molds. Once the concrete has cured and hardened, the wooden frames will be removed. ➡️ A protective tarp now covers the dome during hot weather, while #DisneylandParis crews continue working on the roof edge details.

[News] ⚠️🎆 Pyrotechnic effects suspended due to the ongoing heatwave! ➡️ Due to local authority restrictions related to the current heatwave, #DisneylandParis has announced that all pyrotechnic effects will be suspended from July 10 to July 15. ➡️ The huge Bastille Day nighttime show on July 14 will still be performed, but exceptionally without pyrotechnic effects: ➖ It will still feature more than 1600 drones, castle projections & an entirely new storyline! ➡️ Disney Tales of Magic + Disney Cascade of Lights will continue to be presented in adapted versions without fireworks. ➡️ Further adaptations or cancellations remain possible depending on the evolution of the situation.
