Reminder: tomorrow is a non-uniform day for Primary to raise money for Children in Need. We ask for a minimum donation of £1 💙 As Year 4 have a school trip tomorrow, they will still need to wear their uniforms, please.

This morning, we held a Service of Remembrance in honour of those who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Prayers and poems were read beautifully by students and staff, and after the service, we lay our poppies in front of the monument in our remembrance garden.

Well done to our Y12 students who took part in the Colin Powell Peace Debate on Friday, where they debated the statement "If you seek peace, prepare for war". They should be immensely proud of their hard work. Thank you @RotaryJersey and the States Assembly for this great event.

Our Y6 football team are in fantastic form right now, having won 3 & drawn 1 of the group games to top their group. ⚽ Having then won vs St George's in the playoff, they now proceed to the next round of the ESFA Pokémon tournament vs the winning Guernsey teams. Well done boys!

Year 9 students embraced the foggy atmosphere outdoors this week 🌫️ inspiring them to create their own Gothic plotline with an unsettling setting. We can't wait to read their creations at the end of term!

The First 11 football team are in Guernsey today for a game against @Eliz_Coll this afternoon. ⚽ To make sure the boys are in tip-top shape for the game, they first had an early morning training session at @AztechSoccer Football centre 🇬🇬

One of our Year 12 groups have been looking at the idea of wellbeing and linking it to our Christian viewpoints for their Leavening Project this term. They made links with the @JsyYouthService and today presented their findings to the Year 7 students.

Our Year 7 students enjoyed an immersive French lesson last week, where they performed role plays followed by crepes and diabolos 🇫🇷

Huge congratulations to our trial bike star Corey in Year 5, who achieved 1st Place in the 3rd round of the Under-12 competition at the French National Championships in Frontenac. A brilliant effort. 🥇 #DLSprimary

We were very pleased to welcome two lifeguards from @RNLIJersey to talk to our Year 5 and 6 boys yesterday about staying safe on the beach and in the sea. This was a well-timed reminder for the boys as we move into a summer of outdoor activities.

Super proud of my little man & friends finishing the @DLSjsy charity walk 🏃🏻 At just 11 - and one of the youngest - he walked (&ran) 36 miles around Jersey in just over 11 hours. Thanks to all the teachers, staff, students & volunteers supporting each other 🙌 @HelpforHeroes

Two of our talented art students have had their work selected for the 2023 JJ Fox Art Competition; #DLSYear12’s Ned painted the cityscape entitled ‘The News’ last year. #DLSAlumnus, William created the mix media piece entitled “Back to nature” while he was in Year 13.
