Linear is using the frosted variant of liquid glass we saw in early developer betas which means, there is a way to toggle between frosted and liquid glass at system level in iOS unless they’re doing something else here

@pitnikola @jorilallo Primarily customization: we have exciting plans and need an infrastructure that we have control over – Liquid Glass is very all or nothing. Also, this way we can deliver the same experience for users on iOS 18.

@jorilallo Looks amazing! Just curious, what's the reason for building custom bar vs using default tab bar here? Lack of customization?

Team built our own variant of Liquid Glass because that’s how we roll at Linear
