Perhaps we should shift our focus on benchmarks for student success from test scores to behavior. Test scores fail to capture the impact of relationships teachers form with students. Meaningful relationships alter student behavior, and thus, achievement. (Jackson, 2019).

Congrats to all the Tigers who competed at the Mercer Coaches Classic yesterday. Zach Della Rocca ran 10.73 in the 100m and now holds the 100, 200, and 400 school records. Katherine Monroe was 1st in her 1st pentathlon. Big PRs from Sawyer Quallen (TJ) and Marty Brophy (1600)!
