@iamshreytyagi It was a good, watchable film, specially in IMAX some scenes are absolutely stunning, but the stakes felt way too low for me personally, not saying it's a bad thing but it really did feel like this was supposed to go direct to streaming

I went into #TheMandalorianAndGrogu with absolutely zero knowledge about Star Wars. I have never seen a single Star Wars movie, never cared about the characters or the world, and honestly only booked the film because it was releasing in 3D. I did not even know who was starring in it or who directed it. So when the credits started and I saw Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, and then Jon Favreau as director, my expectations immediately went up because Jon Favreau is one of my favorite directors ever. I love the overall quality and production value of films like Iron Man, The Jungle Book, and The Lion King remake, and this movie absolutely maintained that same high-quality feel. The best part is that this movie works perfectly even if you know nothing about Star Wars. Within the first few minutes, I understood that Mandalorian is a strong guy who goes on missions across planets along with Grogu, a small magical creature, and honestly that was all I needed for the entire movie to work for me. It genuinely feels like a standalone film. The story was engaging, the missions were fun, the character arcs were good, dialogues worked well, and the action scenes were excellent. The CGI, VFX, 3D, sound design, and surround effects were all top-notch. Even the Hindi dubbing was surprisingly excellent because most characters either wear helmets or are CGI-heavy, so lip sync never feels awkward. Watching it in Hindi without subtitles actually made the 3D feel even more immersive. Ludwig Göransson’s background score was phenomenal, especially Shakari. I genuinely feel he is at the same level as Hans Zimmer sometimes. Overall, I had a lot of fun. Jon Favreau returning as a director after seven years delivered a really solid comeback. He simply knows how to make movies feel grand, polished, and entertaining. I might genuinely watch this one again.
