Food costs more. Gas goes to $5, $6, $7 a gallon. You start driving less. Then governments start TELLING you to drive less. Japan is rationing fuel right now. South Korea is rationing fuel right now. Bangladesh. Philippines. All rationing. Australia's government is telling people to "avoid non-essential journeys." That is EXACTLY what they said in COVID. "Avoid non-essential travel." "Work from home." "Only go out for essential purposes." They called it a health measure in 2020. They will call it an energy measure in 2026. The result is the same. You do not leave your house without permission. And they will never call it a lockdown.
