@SportscarJoe As much as I like Dan as a driver, he’s not as quick as Sutton or Ingram. Would be great if he did win it though

@stephen80744901 @BTCC @ASuttonRacing I held a racing license back in the 90s🤦🏻‍♂️ been lucky enough to watch the series from the Classes, Supertouring, BTC, S2000 until today. Could Ingram’s penalty come quicker? Everyone seen at the start he was out of position but took 3 laps to confirm🤷🏻‍♂️Love the series though!🤣

@DMG135 @BTCC @ASuttonRacing I agree they are levels above the rest but I just think it was a bit unnecessary and more of a racing incident as both where probably a bit to aggressive at the start ash a bit more but that’s racing. Just think it could off easily been avoided but hey I’m not a racing driver so

@SportscarJoe I’d agree… Unnecessary risk, especially to the Marshals who now increase the odds of them getting hurt significantly.

Just watched the BTCC qualifying race. My thoughts, is another race per weekend a bad thing? No Is it wise with how some of them behave? Probably not

@TouringCarTimes How far out of your box can you be to incur the lenient 5s penalty? Basic stuff and if you a re a good starter like the top drivers are, what difference does being safe 1m back make? @Tomingram80 is a shoe in for his 3rd title.. Ruthless, quick and clever!

@TouringCarTimes @ASuttonRacing is 100% correct and downplaying it. He could have nailed Ingram at Coppice and McLeans but gave room…. Ingram shut the door and didn’t return the compliment. I’m a fan of both, but @ASuttonRacing is a cleaner driver

@ElliotWebberYT It’s the basics…. If your car underwieght or too low it’s a harsh penalty. It should be at least a 20s penalty or drive through like it used to be..

@ElliotWebberYT I disagree, unnecessary Risk and work for The Marshals, Drivers, Teams, Cars and track. Not much point in FP either…. Made up for JP though, hopefully there is a Trophy in the garage tonight! What’s your thoughts on a 5s penalty for out of position start? Too lenient for me…

If these Qualifying races can produce the racing we saw from the first one, then let’s keep them. Tomorrow’s races just got even more exciting
