@mattkusek Wait until you come back, and go back to the Binnys in Skokie
English

@Amyhaze01 @BlantonsBourbon @BuffaloTrace 20/80 blend. It’s the American version of Canadian whisky, except the bourbon does a worse job flavoring the grain neutral spirits (basically vodka)

@d_tao @monocaskism put out an amazing light whisky (also from MGP) finished in a Rye cask for the last Chicago Jewbillee
English

@d_tao I love what J Henry is doing, and they from Wisconsin. Of course, we all have had some amazing MGP single barrels
English

@TaylorCope1982 @knobcreek @JimBeam And those EC 18 (many were 20+ years old) single barrels for the same price point
English

@mattkusek @MstlyPcflBourbn And the Glenburgie!!! Which location is this?
English

@LarryBurger57 @DerbyCityPhil That could be because they could have sourced the product from different distilleries
English

@DerbyCityPhil It definitely affects nose, palate, and even color. Do side by side comparisons with different voyages and you can see, smell, and taste the difference.

@mattkusek Besides Blanton's? Probably Elijah Craig 18. First time I tried it blind and thought "this would be a great go-to for $50 or so." Then it was revealed and I said "nah."
