This world is so rapidly sinking into an abyss of evil darkness. The only light…the only hope…is to look up to the Son.

I am tired…. Of powerful leaders who in reality are very weak. Of famous people who in reality are infamous. Of a culture that readily embraces ideology completely contrary to God’s word. Of journalistic media that we do not know whether to believe or not. I am tired.

Life has darkness and life has light. Life has despair and life has hope. Life can be ugly and life can be beautiful. To recognize the former and embrace the latter is the secret.

@yvettemsantana You are so very right Yvette. A very old hymn is entitled “I’ve Anchored In Jesus”. I have never seen that anchor be moved.

@DMGriffis Dr Griffis this is one of my favorite verses. ⚓️. Without Him, there is no way to stand firm or be steady.
