I think my favorite thing on fantasy football twitter is how butthurt people can get because your opinion is different than general consensus. General consensus is wrong all of the time, most recently guys like Richardson, McCarthy, Penix, Johnson, Worthy, Harris, Coleman, and Harvey were all grossly overhyped in their respective rookie drafts. Meanwhile, talent like Burden, Dart, Nix, Skattebo, Fannin, etc were generally faded comparatively during their rookie drafts. It’s ok to be wrong either individually or as a consensus, but man people love to be ridiculous about not following group think 😂

@P2WFantasy He hit on Nacua late so Rams have shown they can project how guys might do in their offense so I kind of like Daniels with better QB play

@DraftVogel Some teams are so consistently bad with their picks and team development that they give up to those who think they could do better

You are wrong. See, people in draft media when I started used to explain to you how the draft worked, what strategies teams used, and how their thought processes worked. Now, it’s a bunch of angry dudes and gals claiming that they could GM better than all 32 teams because they listen to a “consensus board” that the NFL GMs don’t listen to. And that’s how it works, negativity gets you clicks these days. Normally, I don’t pay attention to the rest of media because it never fails to piss me off when I can see straight through the façade. And they gather these fans like you and then you get mad at your team when they don’t draft the person you want, and blame them for the pick they made when they don’t make the Super Bowl, or miss the playoffs. The fact of the matter is that this game can be constantly played. 1 team wins the Super Bowl. 31 teams don’t. So they can constantly run this negative “I would do a better job” bullshit for 31 teams.
Texas Fan@TexasFanVY10

@DraftVogel You have a product to sell too. You need people to believe that draft scouting is complex and individual. The reality is that if you just drafted with the consensus board you would be better off than following any individual analyst like you.

Very sad news his content’s only goal was to make people remember a piece of local history to bring a smile to your face every day. One of Chicago’s very own
Chicago History ™️@Chicago_History

This Afternoon, Chicago lost a real hometown legend. Pete Kastanes of #VanishedChicagoland sadly passed away. Pete was the essence of Chicago. His ultimate goal was to share Chicago History with our City & Chicagoans around the World. Pete's Vanished Chicagoland Group on Facebook and across social media was definitely a huge influence for us, in doing what we do daily. Our thoughts and prayers are with Pete's Family and Friends. We hope to do our best to keep Pete's legacy remembered for lifetimes. Pete Kastanes was, is, and will forever be #ChicagoHistory.

Can we all agree all this has absolutely nothing to do with this mythical “big board?” It’s culture war, gatekeeping and being mad about people saying the team you like drafted bad

I have 10 rookie drafts going and I need everyone to accept that Jonah Coleman is a first round rookie pick. His ADP is going to fall into the 1.08-1.10 range.

This is actually excellent Management right here… part of being a good GM is keeping the big executives & big players happy… it’s hard to have job security if everybody hates you… so Eric DeCosta gives Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti a Draft pick of his own, savvy
Ari Meirov@MySportsUpdate

#Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said their 5th-round pick of Clemson RB Adam Randall was made by owner Steve Bisciotti. “When we were down in Florida, Steve was begging for a draft pick—and he owns the team. I said, ‘Yeah, Steve, of course you can have a draft pick.’” 😅 (📽️ @Ravens)

@espn The debate wasn’t whether Ty Simpson should be picked in the first round but rather IF he was going to have a great enough career to justify being picked in the first round. We won’t know that for several years.
