NEW: In a remarkable interview set to air on CBS Easter morning, the conservative archbishop who leads Catholics serving in the U.S. military says the Trump-Vance White House's war against Iran is impermissible under Catholic teaching.
Asked to respond to Pete Hegseth's claims that God is guiding the military effort, Archbishop Broglio said the war is not “sponsored by the Lord.” substack.com/home/post/p-19…

Exactly one year since Trump started taxing Americans with his illegal tariffs: Americans are paying more for less. Inflation remains high. U.S. manufacturing jobs are falling. Supply chains and partnerships are excluding America.

Notice how quickly all that bullshit about liberating Iranians disappeared, and now it's all about bombing them back to the Stone Age, destroying their bridges and universities, poisoning their air and water, and stealing their oil.

Does make you wonder about US leaning so hard on the commercial satellite firms about delaying imagery from the war. Wonder what we might see when it finally comes out

Day 3 of the @IslanderWORLD suspension.
It’s mass-reporting on an inconvenient topic, with zero specific violations ever cite — silencing "polite", fact-based anti-war analysis right as the world burns. Ironically I spoke out on censorship and this action hit on April 1st. April fools indeed.
This is bigger than one account.
The stated reason flipped from “ban evasion” to “multiple or repeat violations.” Still no posts referenced. The flood of replies calling the content fair, excellent, and high-value makes it clear: this was about reach and then targetted mass bot reporting, not content.
Here’s the real reputational cost to X:
When independent, pro-sanity voices get disappeared this easily, users start asking why stay. Backups shift to alternative platforms and analysts hedge. The platform that built its brand as the champion of "free-speech" begins looking like the old regime with selective politicized enforcement that drives away the very truth-seekers who made it grow.
Humanity needs open discourse on forever wars, censorship and power. Silencing one of the cleanest voices in the space undercuts that mission more than any single post ever could.
@elonmusk @X @nikitabier is this worth the long-term damage?

Appreciate every calm, factual reply keeping the pressure on. Perhaps the right eyes are watching.

My account @IslanderWORLD just got suspended. No reason given. Over 100m views in the last 4 weeks. I suppose speaking truth to power is not permitted on X. I poured my heart and soul into this account.

.@SohrabAhmari: "The people who want to pivot away from [foreign wars]... won many of the staffing battles inside the administration... But the people who ultimately made the big policy call to invade Iran are these outside voices like Mark Levin, Lindsey Graham, and Tom Cotton."
