DMW Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac administered the oath of office of newly appointed Atty. Darlene Pajarito as the newest Undersecretary of the Department. She will lead efforts in advancing international cooperation for safe and secure overseas employment for OFWs.

A total of 32 regional winners and mentors of this year’s LIKHAng Kababaihan Business Plan Competition attended an educational tour in the Securities and Exchange Commission, BDO Unibank and the Department of Trade and Industry- MSME Hub to gain insights in business development.

Holistic, inclusive and rights-based welfare protection services and programs for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families are the core objectives of the Multi-Stakeholder Consultation on the DMW Gender and Devolopment Agenda 2026-2031 held on March 25, 2026.

Lumapag sa Villamor Airbase ang ika-4 na chartered flight lulan ang tinatayang 343 OFWs at dependents pasado 6:00 ngayong umaga, March 23, 2026. Sumalubong ang iba't ibang sangay ng gobyerno at ang mga pamilya ng mga OFW na galing sa Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar at Saudi Arabia.

May 1,420 na OFW, dependents, at stranded na mga Pinoy ang nakauwi na sa bansa sa pamamagitan ng commercial flights at ng tatlong (3) chartered flights ng pamahalaan, bilang mabilisang aksyon sa krisis na nagaganap sa Gitnang Silangan.
