@cassieblooms you can skip the NES and handheld ones. I’d start with “a link to the past” personally and then play in release order each main console title. ALTTP -> ocarina -> majora -> wind waker -> twilight princess -> skyward sword -> breath of the wild -> tears of the kingdom

I’ll have to see more before I have a final verdict on the art style, but as someone who MASSIVELY prefers cartoonish stylization in games, OOT is the one Zelda game I’d be fine with having more “realistic” graphics and it’s largely because of how spooky the original game is. There are some really dark vibes in certain segments of OOT and I think that kind of atmosphere would be served well by this kind of art direction
