Yesterday in Los Angeles the LAPD threw this guy to the ground multiple times, ran him over with a horse and hit him with batons. These protesters are peaceful and Donald Trump’s Gestapo are the ones trying to escalate things (Video: @ABC7)

@Johnny_Joey I’d like to spit some Beechnut in that dudes eyes!!

Quick story, a rant really. My aim is to share my experiences so I don’t dwell on it. I hope doing so helps others with similar frustrating days feel in good company and move on quickly. By all means feel free to scroll past!
Today has been “a day”. No big deal, it happens. Had a flight to LGA last night to be on @OutnumberedFNC today, but all the storms in Atlanta had me worried so I bumped it to the first flight out this am. Storms stuck around and needless to say a series of missing flight attendants, lightning and a fuel spill had me sitting on my @Delta flight 2hrs after we were supposed to take off with no time to get in before the show. I opted to change to a later flight to Newark as I’m emceeing a great event for @SemperFiFund tomorrow in NJ.
All good let’s make some lemonade. I went to a buddy’s place and got a quick workout in. Lost my AirPods somewhere on I-75. A few hours later, back to the airport. By this time it’s a mad house and everyone has their stupid hat on, expected so mentally prepared.
The first hurdle was the rerouted security lines. I walk into the south terminal at door 3. If I take an immediate right I’m a few dozen yards from all forms of pre-check lines, Clear and Digital ID. Because everything was backed up they rerouted traffic to the left about fifty yards and make a big horseshoe around baggage check. However the handicap/stroller line is never backed up. The only physical hurdle between me and the empty handicapped line to my right was a rope line and an airport attendant. She told me to follow the traffic around, to which I quipped, “ma’am, I’m going to that empty handicapped line” she didn’t budge. I said “look, that’s as far as these robot legs need to walk”.. sometimes people don’t see them at first. She didn’t seem surprised, so maybe she’d already seen them, but with my second effort she looked around like she was looking for a person in charge and then reluctantly let me through saying “she might send you back”. A pilot (who automatically gets to take the short cut) apologized to me for having to explain myself. No big deal, I laughed it off.
Got through security fairly easily and quickly. As I exited the escalator to B gates I saw the skyclub across the thoroughfare with a long regular line and an almost empty first class/diamond/360 line. As I qualify with all three I made a straight shot to it. As I got close the Delta employee reminded the line that those who qualify could get in the shorter line. One man stepped into it as I arrived, I stepped behind him and a few others realized their mistake and stepped over to the shorter line behind me.
Here’s the rant.
A younger guy wearing black sweats, the kind these kids think are appropriate for business causal these day, well placed jet black hair and a manicured beard looks at me and goes “I think the line is back there”. To which I responded “the regular line is, but this is the 360 line.” He responds “ya, I’m 360 too…” so I stated “well you were in the wrong line…” like fuck this guy and his bullshit entitlement and arrogance. I’ve now let the hassle of the day get to me. He said “ok bro, do whatever you have to do”. So I responded “listen, I’m going to walk away from this line, but if I saw a dude with prosthetic legs walk into an empty line I think I’d keep my fucking mouth shut, but you do whatever you have to do”. And I abruptly walked away. Unfortunately I walked in the wrong direction. So I had to pass back by him to get to my gate. I was livid. Not because I think I’m entitled to anything. But because I hate having to ask for any type of special treatment with my legs. And when I have to point out what should be absolutely obvious when it comes to common sense or accommodating folks who have a little less mobility and a lot more pain. I get mad, not because I can’t suck it up, but because God forbid they treat my buddies that way. I really these hate moments where I have to present myself as some entitled asshole.

Another day at the @ATLairport This guy came up to me showing me a picture on his phone and then proceed to call me “retarded, told me “that’s why you’re going through what you’re going through” then walked off wobbling his knees mocking my legs.

@PaytonThorneAA Oh trust me I know all about it. I was at games when Franchonie and Shula was the HC. Bama wins by double digits this year and extends the streak to 5. Go ahead and bookmark, screenshot whatever. It’s gonna happen

Auburn is 4-0 in Tuscaloosa when Nick Saban is not the coach. I know Alabama fans know nothing besides the Saban era but they will learn this year.

@PaytonThorneAA @CoachBeecham Auburn can’t win in Tuscaloosa
