Well May is officially not my month. Game room is dry and ready to be reassembled with few changes. Moving bookshelves back in place I managed to hit the heavy cast dragon on my wall. It fell, hit me in the head. Good news, I caught it and it’s safe. My head hurts!

Was a long morning but all ended up ok. No books were harmed. I have 4 fans going back there and will for a few days. Tomorrow I might get the rest off those shelves and move them all to make sure it all dries. Hopefully I don’t get a repeat this week.

Ughh, not what I wanted to wake up to. Sadly everything is totally saturated outside after days of rain and it's still going which means this will probably get worse. Already moving books. 😩

Rough night. My 10 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel woke us up around 3am in distress. Lethargic, heavy breathing, coughing. About an hour later he was gone. He was an awesome dog who wanted nothing but to please everyone.

I am happy to say that today I worked my last shift in a 25 year career as a NYS Correction Officer. I will be on the books for a few months as I burn up some time but as of today I am unofficially retired at 48 years old and can focus my time on my laser business!
