Even Mahmud Jamal stepped aside in another case to avoid becoming a distraction, not because he had to, but because public confidence matters. That’s the standard. This isn’t just about one case, it’s about whether the public believes the process is fair. Because once that’s gone, the ruling doesn’t matter. No one will believe his "findings."
