Gaussian Splatting keeps finding new frontiers to solve real problems. First in entertainment, then in construction/geospatial, and now @NVIDIAAI is bringing it into the world of physical AI, helping robots see, learn, and move through space. As more city scale Gaussian Splatting examples hit the internet over the past few weeks, @NVIDIARobotics seems to be digging deeper into how splatting frameworks and libraries can accelerate training and validation for everything from robot arms to humanoids. Not just to reconstruct massive datasets, but to help power the coming wave of robots through simulation. I can't believe @NVIDIAGTC DC is a week away and if you're going, I strongly recommend that you go to these sessions, especially if you've been curious about gaussian splatting.
