Catching up with the @ImagineIWR book launch #30Years30Stories yesterday reaffirmed to me the transformative power of storytelling in the journey towards healing. Something I am personally experiencing lately. I can't thank you enough, @DNalonga. Your remarkable storytelling not only ignites the imaginations of the younger generation but continues to move deeply and inspire those who have walked a longer path. Pain, no matter how deeply buried, eventually resurfaces, much like a seed. If nurtured through healing, it blossoms beautifully; if neglected, it bears bitter fruit. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to courageous survivors like @lady_irma_, @_sosolite, @Inkotanyi_C, @Mudacumurafisto, and many others for bravely sharing their powerful stories. I am equally thankful that our country has created safe and supportive spaces for these vital narratives. Listening to @HopeAzeda share how they thoughtfully include perpetrators in their performances was a profound reminder of our collective commitment to reconciliation and leaving no one behind.
