@DNeuroimaging

Went to University & never left. Found big magnets were attractive. MRI, EEG, epilepsy, pinch of neuroscience and sprinkle of EDI and outreach. Views my own.

On my home what a great 36 hours - learnt a lot about histological validation and diffusion models. Looking forward to seeing where the ERC project of @siawooshmn takes us over the next few years!

The workshop has started! The first presentation is Prof. Carmichael .@DNeuroimaging (if it is the correct X account 😜) about clinical study of Focal Epilepsy with some nice MR and histological results

@fMRI_today I'm confused though. It looks like they used balanced SSFP (=bFFE). In which case phase doesn't behave the same. Changes in resonance frequency get accommodated into the steady state within a few 100ms and won't be manifested as phase changes. I must be missing something...

The most interesting result I saw from #ISMRM24. Pretty convincing maps of brain conductivity changes with activation - highlighting white matter tracts. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.
