to think that this time last year i hadn't even started on the rollercoaster that was going to be the main arc of my 2025.... i am truly curious how this year will turn out

it's not a hobby for them (like it is for us). this is their job.

this is not a defending the company or saying that tickets should cost this much at the outset. this is just being realistic and commercial (hate that i even have to say this).

can't help but feel bad for them. they announce a concert with a witty name and then have to each do damage control because some people can't use inference and now their feeds must be rife with complaints about the ticket prices (none of this being from int. fans btw)

@fruityweasley !!!! like i've paid more than this for just standard back of the arena tickets where i live... this is a bargain for an int. fan like me. i guess when you've never seen otherwise the price comes at a shock.

@DONGPLUM Isn't this considered affordable already? I wish the tickt prices here in PH will also be the same but I understand if it'd be higher since they'll be spending more on logistics too. korean fans are still so lucky lol

in the context of korea shows where ticket prices are only really tiered based on seating arrangement rather than benefits i get that it comes across steep but let's be for real... 198,000 won for meet and greet AND soundcheck AND front access is to me an absolutely crazy deal 😭

the take off GA tickets were like c. 143,000 kr something. 198,000 is not horrendous at all.

i'm judging myself for this too but there's this one aegiful sunghoon photocard for sale for pretty cheap in my local kpop buy and sell page that i am always on the verge of buying whenever i feel like i'm in the pits of my life (i.e., work) and today is one of those days

I saw a qrt along the lines of "[idol] is such a complex human being who isn't really what you'd expect of an idol" or something which was completely well-meant but this idea that an idol wouldn't be someone you'd expect to be complex and faceted... let's interrogate this...
