A warm welcome to our colleagues at North Manchester General Hospital who are transferring to MFT today along with the laboratory service. MFT’s Division of Laboratory Medicine now has labs on four sites stretching across Manchester.

Very much in awe of the hard work from all @LabMedicineMFT to get @MFT_Hive set up over night, what a team!!!

Today sees the transfer of North Manchester General Hospital’s essential services laboratory to the management of MFT’s Division of Laboratory Medicine, along with staff supporting biochemistry, haematology, sample reception and microbiology.

Over the next few weeks, please bear with our staff as they get used to our new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. We’re taking the time to get things right and to ensure patient safety: our number 1 priority! 💙 👏 #ThriveWithHive 🐝
