DoT NE LSA Shillong successfully organised a Webinar cum Workshop for PWD Dept., Govt of Meghalaya on CBuD Mobile App and relevant issues on 16.04.2026. Around 100 participants attended the event as part of a series of awareness activities aimed at promoting the app within Govt.

Today, a training on CEIR was organized by Mizoram SC Unit of NE LSA for CEIR users of Mizoram Police. The session aimed to enhance understanding & effective utilization of CEIR system, enabling participants to better handle cases related to mobile device tracking and security.

Sanchar Mitras of CIHSR Nagaland successfully conducted awareness on Telecom Cyber frauds & Sanchar Saathi Portal on 31.03.2026.More than 100 participants from 1st year Allied Health Sciences & 1st year GNM students were present and got awareness about various cyber tactics(1/2).

Various Issues related to telecom coverage & facilities within the campus were reviewed,and possibilities for further collaboration between NESAC & NE LSA,DoT were discussed. A joint inspection of the campus telecom network was also carried out along with RJIO and BHL Teams.(2/2)

Meeting with IG Crime held today at Kohima regarding enhancement of recovery of lost mobile phones in Nagaland through CEIR portal. With the continuous follow up of Nagaland SC unit with concerned State police officials, recovery has increased from 9% to 20% in last 6 months.

ABP projects, CBuD, OPGW, RoW, mapping of street furniture, provisioning of smart meters, implementation of Composite billing etc were discussed. (2/2)
