This is a penalty the same way the shove on Nygren was a penalty, the knee on Maeda was a penalty, and the handball last night was a penalty.

Yes, refereeing standards could be better.
One of the issues is that it is difficult to attract people into refereeing.
No wonder given the dugs abuse they get, at all levels.
We've got an appalling anti-referee culture in this country. Until we sort it, standards won't improve.

Numerous comments on here about how referees should be demoted, sacked or whatever if they make mistakes (which is inevitable by the way).
Who referees the games when we go down that road?

What a backwards city. Hire some portaloos/urinals and put them near the Barrowlands park and the surrounding areas of Merchant City. Stick some Biffa bins around the place as well. Or even better, actually plan for celebrations in Glasgow Green like other countries/cities do 🤷🏻♂️

- the likes of Derek McInnes & Kris Boyd should be fuckin ashamed at how they fuelled this. McInnes should be subject to formal action

Maybe this is a chance for broadcasters to bring a more thoughtful, considered approach to match coverage.
What I heard on TV and radio lacked knowledge, balance and set the tone for a fervour that has been magnified to an absurd degree, even if you think it wasn't a penalty.
