▶️ Deputy Commissioner Graham Doyle on today's publication of the DPC Annual Report for 2025. 🔵 We received 16,160 new cases in 2025 🟠 Total valid breach notifications received was 6,521 🟡 The DPC finalised 4 large-scale inquiries and imposed fines totalling just over €530m

🎂 8 Years of the GDPR! 🗓️ 25 May 2026 marks eight years of the GDPR being the global standard for data protection rules. The DPC continues to safeguard the data protection rights of Irish and European citizens by driving compliance through guidance, supervision and enforcement.
