@Jaws960608 Respectfully, do you seriously /honestly believe that what somebody says on TV or radio has any impact on someone's interest in a particular coaching job? I'll answer it for you- it has none at all. And how do you know that Meyer, Tebow etc. haven't reached out to coaches?

One thing we’ve learned from all this is the national media with ties to UF have been worthless, bordering on complicit. Not a word of support from Doering, Tebow, Urban, Staples, Rutledge, etc. While their colleagues belittle, dismiss and ignore UF, they sit there dutifully smiling. No pushback, nothing. Shame on all of them.

@DPGerber1 @nwblackmon @SatDownSouth All of your candidates seem extremely unrealistic to me, so I can only hope that you'll keep an open mind about whoever they hire.

As I reported late last month @SatDownSouth, the Playoff pushes coaching searches back much later than in the past. A host of places, including Florida, are likely to not have a coach in place until after rivalry week at the earliest. Early-mid December more likely. Buckle up!

@dmm12345 @nwblackmon @SatDownSouth I'm not hoping for Kiffin & don't get the mentality or infatuation for Kiffin either. Freeman, Riley, a NFL coach or even Meyer are better targets IMO. But 0 confidence we're getting a splash homerun hire. Blew it when we didn't go all in on Ryan Day after the '23 season

Lagway had done a better job tonight setting his feet and making the right decision getting the ball out quickly. Made multiple mistakes on the interception, from footwork to missing a wide open Abrams. Brutal as Gators were well within Trey Smack’s range.

@Benny729_ @tdgator9 Bill Arnsbarger was the AD (& Robert Bryan was interim President ) who hired Coach Spurrier Meyer came to Florida bc and when Bernie Machen was President here-Machen hired Meyer at Utah & wanted him here

Just so we are clear here… Scott Stricklin is the worst AD in the county. But Florida Football fell behind in the 2010s because of one man.

@tdgator9 The problem is...as a whole UF sports are amazing and kicking ass. Football is the biggest issue. That's why a GM is so necessary, bc Scott is terrible with football but the other sports are successful
