@rasputinboneym I work lots in Prague schools - such a magical place, with all its dark history too, esp WW2. Such a happy, friendly place - try to find a piece of litter on the floor (all Eastern Europe is the same!) Try to visit Anthropoid memorial church in Resslova - St Cyril / Methodius 🇨🇿

@moses_brian @EarlyTrain I received a copy of ‘Gargling with jelly’ once from a friend years back, when I was a young teacher. I LOVED that book - stern miss frugal, queen sneeze, Just be cos I cud not spel - you know I still remember those now. Probably how I got into writing verse too! 💙❤️

Sad to hear that Brian Patten has died. I've loved his poetry, it's gentle lyricism, since I first discovered it as part of Penguin Modern Poets 10: The Mersey Scene. This book, with poems by Patten, Henri and McGough changed my life and made me a writer. brian-moses.blogspot.com/2015/11/how-i-…
