@RadioX "reporting" on their news segment about @BTP changing their policies on #Trans staff no longer being allowed to search female suspects...... but spinning it that #trans suspects will be searched by male officers. This is why we don't trust the news - lies & manipulation

In light of the UK Supreme Court ruling on the legal definition of the term “woman,” we want to be clear: Scissor Sisters stand in full solidarity with our trans friends, family, and community. This decision is deeply upsetting, and we recognise the pain and fear it causes. 1/3

Organisations such as @AllianceLGB are joyous in the #SupremeCourt judgement.....but in reality very little if anything will change. The Court explains why it’s decision won’t impact the rights of Trans people.....so #LGBalliance and others still can't encourage discrimination

To the UKs Trans community: Carry on as normal - and if you experience discrimination or harassment, contact a free legal advice service such as a local law centre & consider your options Do not get into aggressive standoffs - walk away - we need to live to fight another day

Today is going to be a challenging day. We’re going to read some things written by people who can’t, won’t or don’t want to understand what it is to be trans. The only thing we know for sure: we are going to be there for you and we’re going to do this #Together #LoveWins

To be clear: Today’s judgement does not change the law.Trans people remain protected under the Equality Act, including their right to access services & spaces—unless there is clear evidence that restricting this access is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim.

Steph Richards: (She/her) - Say NO to hate.
TWELVE facts for journalists writing articles regarding the For Women Scotland Case. (1) Around one woman in 8,800 will be a trans woman with a Gender Recognition Certificate (GRC). That's just 0.0114% of the UK population! (2) Many will be "post-op" and have biology very similar to that of a natal female who has had a full hysterectomy & BSO. See the YouTube link at the end of this thread...and note the suicide statistic! (3) Many trans women "live in stealth" - whatever the result on Wednesday, it is unlikely to affect them. (4) Let's assume FWS win their appeal. What is the "knock-on" effect to trans men? Surely, they will not want to out themselves? All that would be achieved is that a tiny, vulnerable demographic would be excluded, but I guess that is FWS's aim. (5) The result will not affect trans women in prison in any way. In England and Wales, just five trans women are housed in the female estate. The vast majority of trans women are housed in the male estate, where 29% are sexually abused. (6) The organisation "Loving Me" operate a dedicated domestic abuse service exclusive to the needs of trans people. My community is very grateful that they are there for us. (7) Hospital wards are often dedicated to a medical condition - pregnant trans men still have their babies in the maternity department. Because hospital wards and services are frequently gendered, trans people have great difficulty using them. Extensive FOI data, gathered over three years, shows that there are no complaints about trans women in hospital wards. (8) There are many branches of feminism - only the gender-critical "feminists" seek to remove the human rights of a tiny, vulnerable minority. Hiding transphobia under the guise of women's rights is wrong. (9) All trans people want to do is live in peace and harmony within society, but we are hounded in a culture war because we have no voice to fight back. (10) Trans people suffer crime at twice the rate of s!s people. Hate crime has increased by circa 1500% over a decade because of the gender-critical movement that drives hate. (11) The gender-critical movement is an international hate group, principally financed by the evangelical far-right. They will deny this, but it is TRUE. (12) Yes, I am available for an interview. Premiership Rugby you are not fully inclusive and are no longer a sport for everyone have you not read the rugby policies lately? Trans woman and girls are banned and trans men have to jump through hoops and put themselves to play. Inclusive I think not @EnglandRugby

@AriDrennen They clearly are desperate to ensure we don’t exist - we must be so frightening. - But we do & we will continue to do so If they want to erase us they should have thought that 50 years ago at least before I transitioned 🏳️‍⚧️💪🏼
