Chimaev’s lulled Strickland into a classic sparring pace. All that talk is out the window, they secretly are lovers lmao. Strickland a sucker for a tepid kickboxing war. It’s his safe space.

Took some Strickland ML live (+400). He looks great.

Took some Van ML live (+275). Did everything right from bottom.

Taira’s build at 125 is kinda crazy. Van is small, even for flyweight. A lot of comparisons to the Tsurya fight, but Taira is way more competent in positional grappling. Still, Van’s progress is kinda absurd. Great fight.

Van vs Taira my most anticipated fight on the card. Taira looks like a phenom, but it’s hard to ignore Van’s defensive grappling success and pure boxing output. Personally think Taira’s turned a page since the Royval loss. Taira pre, Van live makes a lot of sense.
