@KingJae If you make it to TK or TG I'll say they are more than a "casual" player

The rank system to me seems pretty simple in TEKKEN 8 SEASON 3. Anyone at GOD or above knows how to play actual Tekken at an intermediate level. (Personally, I would say GOD2 but some GOD are good) Anyone below that is casual or somewhat-have an understanding of Tekken 8. Maybe this was to give casuals a sense of enjoyment to Tekken 8 and separate the intermediate Tekken players in their own ranks? Maybe that’s why our characters get pushed to GOD when you hit GOD3? That way, casuals are less likely to give up and rank up to Tekken God or potentially GOD?

@boyfifty In situations like that it's highly likely the producer has sold the exclusive rights to the production work. He no longer has any stake in the work

@TheOfficialK9 @KingThelonious I think youre misinformed. Soundexchange does not collect mechanical royalties. That would be your publisher. Im a member of soundexchange. Mine never show mechanical lol

@DQueBeats @KingThelonious Soundexchange collects mechanical royalties generated from the sound recording/master. Distributor collects royalties on the master. BMI/ascap collect royalties on composition. Gotta understand thoroughly. The LOD basically allows the artist designate a % to the prod

Noble K9 Ezeh@TheOfficialK9

@KingThelonious Typical lazy producer talk. Guaranteed back end for making the beat, but the artist likely wrote and sang, and still has to slave to market the song for it to make any money. This is why the law doesn’t guarantee the producer anything and Soundexchange had to create the LOD.

@TheOfficialK9 @KingThelonious And soundexchange collects on sound recording royalties and not publishing/ mechanical royalties. Are you sure the LOD said that? Unless they are getting into the publishing game now

@DQueBeats @KingThelonious You checked my lo? To make what point? Lol. Anyway, Soundexchange’s LOD was an attempt to allow the artist confer a portion of the mechanicals to the producer. Except where an artist is naive enough to sign a 50/50 upfront, the producer will never be able to enforce that. I know

@TheOfficialK9 @KingThelonious Its called writing the music/ being the composer and yes the composer is entitled to at least 50% of the writers share and copyright. Then again you're in Lagos so you prob dont have the same copyright protections as we do here. Makes sense.

@DQueBeats @KingThelonious Lol touch a nerve, did I? It’s alright; you’ll be fine. Might want to use this as a learning opportunity: get involved in the marketing, promotion, strategy, quality control of the art you spent so much time creating. Making a beat does not give you the right to 50% of anything
