Its actually depressing seeing people reply to this trying to say the franchise isn't dead, its like the deny phase of grief. As much as it hurts me to accept, the films were compromised by Lorenzo and Paramount, shows got cancelled, no games, the figures are getting less quality and more expensive by the time. Transformers franchise is just a rotting corpse pretending its not just like star wars.

Transformers went from dead to multi-billion dollar franchise to dead again for two reasons: 1. Hasbro's bizarre discomfort with Michael Bay's films being what relaunched the franchise from the grave. 2. People like this guy demanding it undermine itself for a female audience that just isn't there.
