I've been thinking of starting with my own take on a live version of "Video Grin 'n' Bear It!" from Blizzard Games/Spitting Image. would there be any interest in a game show for which you have to sign a waiver consenting to potentially being touched inappropriately by a puppet

I've been to three cons now and after each of them all I could think about was 1) how badly I'd like to attempt running a panel myself 2) how badly I need to start working on improv skills and 3) how badly I want to build a Gooch puppet

@animal2you it feels incredible to let your presence and laughter fill up a room, to see people perk up amd come running when they hear it knowing it couldn't have come from anybody else

@animal2you I laugh loud as fuck and sometimes ive been made self conscious about it, but at the same time I've got people who still tell me they either look forward to hearing it or miss being close enough to hear it and I think that's very nice. so I WILL keep laughing loud as fuck

@asstr0n0my @animal2you I laugh much, MUCH louder now and it's a rather polarizing aspect to some, like a strong, overwhelming flavor. but i refuse to dilute myself to be palatable to the general public. it's fulfilling and freeing to live life as an acquired taste

@animal2you i didn't really laugh a lot before T, so this has been my laugh for longer than my old one

not saying you shouldn't put in effort to take care of yourself, but don't pretend that anything looks the same as it did before decades of wear and use. the lines on my forehead are evidence of all the times my eyebrows have raised in joy or surprise and I love it

someday you're all gonna get old and wrinkly. I find it sad when people damn their toys to an eternity of unopened display. I don't give a shit about "collector's value;" in fact, I'm looking forward to cartographing the kind of lines a full life will carve into my reflection

my hot ass take of the day is that I think when you say you're scared that testosterone will make you ugly, I don't think it's because you're afraid of looking like a man. I think some of you are just scared of getting old

@PUPPYC00 you really do hit a point with HRT where you stop feeling like you're moving laterally across two planes, it takes a little while to change course but after that you're just growing older and moving forward

I think being scared of transitioning and not looking how you want to look is a valid "fear" sure maybe is superficial but I don't think it's crazy for someone to feel scared of not looking how they want to look in the future

@implantgrade adding a DHT blocker is always am option too for those who may just want a deeper voice and the fat redistribution, theoretically the DHT would help out if you don't want a lot of extra hair in places you don't want (and if you want the hair on your scalp to remain where it is)

@implantgrade like if you don't want facial hair, you don't have to really worry much if say your dad and uncle are both bald-chinned. if you desire most or all the same masculine traits that they have, chances are starting testosterone is gonna be a good option

When people say “don’t take testosterone if you don’t want to look like a man” but the alternative for afab nonbinary people is to stay on estrogen and continue looking like a woman. Can we get a middle hormone I feel bad for these people
