Update - There are now 295 signatures for the defense of immigrants and refugees resolution already. Please consider signing if you have not. The 2023 DSA Convention is this August and we need 300 to sign before April 28 in order for the resolution to reach the convention floor.

When is enough, enough?

@socialisbastard …even in the form of this brief statement of intent, essential for a both a meaningful Convention and for support needed for a successful DSA response on Immigration. Immigration should be part of every resolution discussed, because it is so essential to our shared future.

Would this resolution make immigrants rights a national priority w/ resources like labor, electoral, gnd or just like make it a priority vibe wise? If the former I’m going to need a lot more details to make this actionable.

@socialisbastard This current resolution outlines the plan and goals of the first period of re-organizing and operations and needs the support or comments brought by others in discussion or consideration at the Convention.

Comrades, As you know, the 2023 DSA Convention is coming up this August. Several members of the Immigrants' Rights Working Group have been working on a Resolution On the Defense of Immigrants and Refugees.
