This is not an accident. Repeated tragedies at UOL expose institutional neglect, extreme academic pressure, and the absence of mental health support. Student lives are not expendable. DSF demands accountability and a humane, student-centred education system. #UOL

Yet in Pakistan, some people without any scientific qualification inform us that he didn’t deserve all this respect. Basically, they hate him because he was born an Ahmedi.
Sadia Ahmed@SadiaTheSadia

36 universities in 23 countries awarded honorary doctorates. He was honored with over 20 International medals. He was offered British & Italian citizenship but he refused and preferred to keep his Pakistani citizenship. He was Dr Abdus Salam! Remember his Name! #AbdusSalam

Pakistan: A Hard Country by Anatol Lieven lacks a basic understanding of Pakistan’s culture and society, yet it is extremely exaggerated and over-romanticized by many individuals, especially those aspiring to join the 'Nokar Shahi' (bureaucracy). Although the author claims to adopt an emic perspective on Pakistan, his writing suggests otherwise.

Abid never learned to ride bike. Everyday, he walked 2-3kms to college, library did housework on foot. Despite my requests, he couldn't. As I worried studying might burden him but he remained more focused. He’d sarcastically say, your bike will get tired, I won’t. #ReleaseAbidAziz

1/2 Iran defending itself has every right to do so, and God forbid now if the US invades Iran it would be even sensible to fight against the US occupation through armed struggle like the way the people of Iraq did. US/Zionism and terrorist NATO has no right to occupy under the false pretext of “bringing democracy” to the region. Principled position would be to resist and fight Yankee/Zionist terrorism, but it brings some questions into minds that with which audacity these politically bankrupt neo-Trotskyite and former Maoist social democrates are framing this aggression other way around? And are asking for unconditional backing of one Imperialist block against the other. This socDem from Lahore asserted recently that Iran is going through a harsh situation and is in a State of War and the only correct position be to give unconditional support to Iran because it a front line State against Israel/US backed by the “axis of resistance” and the people who do not agree with this notion are a victim of US propaganda. The ironically the people who surround him now and who hold similar views like him on global geopolitics with “PRO-CHINA ORIENTATION” ( who have not given all of its support to Iran in a unconditional way) have accused him (and it seems like it is true) of being anti-Leninist and a former trotskyite who is very much influenced by Herbert Marcuse’s Frankfurt School and Michael Foucault, which is mesmerizing, the amount of time US intelligence agencies spent in popularizing the works of these writers in contrast to Marxism in academia is all on paper, through institutions like Congress for Cultural freedom, an institution backed by State Department. During this recent May, Indo-Pak 76 hour confrontation in May he unconditionally subscribed to defending the ruling class of Pakistan and asked for a unconditional support because according to this professor, Pakistan is an outpost of “Socialist China” and such an taking side would be “anti-Imperialism”. This war resulted in the deaths of dozens of civilians and a lot of damage to the infrastructure on both sides of the border, thankfully the war ended quick, the war ended with this professor shouting Victory while the lives of billions of people were at the stake of nuclear Armageddon, according to him and his clique the victory, was a victory of “socialist outpost” Pakistan, who is about to play its decisive role for “multi-polar” world, as this guy thinks of BRICS and BRI as a counter to US Imperialism and a way forward for a working class politics, he even claims that the fight and attacks on Ukraine are just, as the NATO has no right to enter Ukraine at the border of Russia, and thinks of the trio of “Russia-China-Iran” as the axis of resistance of which I spoke of which earlier. We do not disagree with these basic axioms that no Imperialist country has the right to bomb and murder childrens of the sovereign states, or intervene in the internal politics of any country but the whole point of writing this thing is to assert that the second block spearheaded by China and Russia is not an anti-Imperialist block but rather itself is Imperialist and holds a grave position in the global integrated Capitalism. Lets see some facts here, over the past 25 years China had a trade of over $200 billion dollars with Israel, helping Israel with a lot of Chinese made goods, Chinese companies have been involved in several significant infrastructure projects in Israel over the past two decades, spanning ports, transportation, housing, and energy sectors etc worth of over $30 billion dollars in infrastructure and $19 billion dollars in FDI ( Foreign Direct Investments) who would do this much for you? An “anti-Imperialist hostile” or benign business partner.
