Fab event in UMHL today. Our parents shared their experiences of their births at the hospital & gave suggestions on how to improve the empathy & care given to families after a baby with Down syndrome is born. Thanks to the amazing audience & to @lindaomahony1 for inviting us 💜

Thanks Marie for sharing your daughter Ruth’s story. Ruth was diagnosed with Down syndrome associated arthritis in the last year. Marie received lots of advice from the DS community but felt that the knowledge, awareness & expertise of medical professionals needs to be improved.
