@SheepleFarmers @CharlieMarlow_ The B1G has 3 teams in the top 5 of the CFP. I don’t care how terrible Rutgers, Purdue, etc. are at the bottom of the B1G. The B1G has the best chance of winning a natty, it would be 3 in a row for the conference. That’s a pretty good argument to be the best conference imo.

Credit to Mark Ingram. Just said Alabama should not be in. The only dude I’ve heard tonight who’s not totally biased towards his alma mater or the conference their network has a TV deal with.

If they trade Donnie, I don’t this it’s for the kind of Major League, cost-controlled arm you’d want them to be getting. I’d guess that’s more likely an ascending arm or prospect who isn’t proven yet.

Not sure what the odds are that the #Cardinals add a proven, controllable arm via trade, but I’d have to think Alec Burleson would be the name to watch in a deal like that.
Perhaps their catching depth or certain MiLB arms could be a factor.
