@DSculptors @istvan_csanady Yes we should be doing more aggressive sales than what we currently do (ie. none). I am wondering though if auto, industrial design, etc, are about to start tightening their belts because of this economic insanity. We will soon find out !

@nk @istvan_csanady I think plasticity is relatively unknown to the decision makers in many industries.. especially in the Automotive design domain. You should try to reach out to those people.. maybe you should invite them to a conference/design night.

@istvan_csanady Yeah … I’m trying to figure out if I need to reduce spend or something to weather the storm. I don’t know if there will be any real boost in manufacturing capital outlays - and even so Plasticity will likely not benefit from that

Here's my take: LLMs like Claude 3.7 are already near-expert or "superhuman" at SOME coding tasks. Those tasks are maybe 10-20% of economically valuable programming. They are still incredibly incompetent at the other 80% of programming, with no indication (so far) of significant improvement over the last couple generations of models. Anthropic has a great product but they are generating hype so that they can raise more money, that's it.

( Also, discovered that Blender names ( collections, objects.. etc) cannot be more that 63 characters long. There is no automatic solution at the moment. Please rename the layer/object names in Alias to be shorter.)

It's been two and a half years since the release of Export IGES addon for Blender, for free. Thank you for all the support. Unfortunately, I am just not able to cover my expenses. I had to make it a paid app ($10).
