⚡️ Shooting in Minneapolis Rekindles Internal Conflict in the U.S.: ICE Incident Becomes a New Trigger for Protests On January 7, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) carried out a raid in Minneapolis. During the operation, a woman was shot dead. According to authorities, she blocked the road with her car and then attempted to run over one of the agents — after which officers opened fire. The victim was 37-year-old Renee Nicole Goode. She was killed just a few blocks from the home where she lived with her partner and children. Her mother says Goode “was not part of anything like that,” referring to protesters confronting ICE agents. Notably, Minneapolis is also the city where George Floyd was killed in 2020 — an event that sparked nationwide BLM protests and became one of the key drivers of that year’s political crisis. Donald Trump has already spoken out in defense of ICE agents, calling the deceased woman a “radical.”

@burtmacklin_fbi Why was the this woman’s “wife” on the sidewalk recording? Because they wanted to record the scene they created. Definition of FAFO here tonight. Unfortunately it was the cause of a loss of a life.

This slowed-down video shows the first shot wasn’t fired until the vehicle made contact (or what appears to be contact) with the officer. You all can make up your own minds, but actually watch the video for yourself rather than relying on others to give information you want to hear.

THE WHEELS ARE FULLY TURNED AWAY FROM THE OFFICER. Watch in SLOW MO. No intention IMO to hit anyone. Sole intention based on wheel/steering wheel to LEAVE the scene NOT A THREAT. Look at the wheel.

@nickdagreek @rawsalerts I found it. The other videos don’t show the guy in behind the agent trying to open the door. Clearly can see he was hit by the car.

@DSimm626 @rawsalerts if you see the other angle, you get a better view of what the ice agent dealt with that shot her, it wasn't the one that had his hand in the car

@nickdagreek @rawsalerts I have not seen that yet. Another thing these protesters need to realize is as you go up in agency(Fed vs local Leo), they are trained to shoot to kill and not shoot to disable. In the chaos, training kicked in, as was evident.

@nickdagreek @rawsalerts I get she was breaking the law and disobeying commands but I didn’t see any ICE agent almost get run over. The one had his hand on the door handle but he let go and wasn’t dragged. ICE has put up with a lot of shit for doing their jobs.
