You can’t win for losing these days. Nike limits product, people complain they can’t cop. Nike releases more product, people say Jordan’s are dead & Nike is cooked cause nobody wants their stuff. What do you want? A million Off White’s & Travis Scott’s & nothing else?

The real issue is that nobody wants to fully commit to the maximalism of it anymore. New Jack Swing was sweaty, sharp, polished, funky, and unapologetically theatrical. Modern pop usually prefers minimalism nowadays.

Growth is slow, ugly & sometimes invisible. Until it isn’t.

It's very easy to keep showing up and creating when you know there's an audience / demand for your art. *Real* conviction and determination is showing up when seemingly no one cares, after years and years of ups and downs. Do it for yourself. Keep going.
