@DT2ComicsChat Again, I am against telling people what they can an cannot publish. Art should be free. The market always decides what shouldn't exist.

@DT2ComicsChat Why in the universe would this ever happen to Superman? Today's society proving that that they are losing hope, if they ever had it. Disappointing, really.

@bob123bj Not like Frank Castle. Jason Todd is the perfect character to fit in that role.

It's never going to be perfect. This is what people seem to struggle with. And by 'perfect' people always mean THEIR IDEA of perfect. So one possible solution is an objective set of standards, like, no nudity, no profanity, no explicit images. And if those are to be included, they have to be in their own separate title and labelled on the cover, so that parents buying comics for their kids would know what they were getting. Most people wouldn't object to that.

@DT2ComicsChat @Dontfeedthecrz But who watches the Watchmen? I remember this being brought up about 5 years ago in the indie space. Given how Toxic the space can be, do you really want to hand over such power to people like that?

No, you're not the bearer of bad tidings with that, that's normally the way it happens. A good interpretation always has to be fought for. •Donner had to fight the Salkinds to make Superman: The Movie and they fired him halfway through the second film. •They got rid of #GLTAS because it wasn't selling enough toys; same with the OG #TeenTitans. •I think they thought B:TAS was too expensive, so they revamped it into The New Batman Adventures. That's just the way it is. Remember: we're dealing with a Pharaoh spirit. That means that somewhere in the process, guaranteed they will require bricks to be made without straw. Same tally of bricks, less resources to do it with. Guaranteed.

@DT2ComicsChat I know I'm the bearer of bad tidings but we haven't got what fans wanted for a long time. It's like BTAS was the one time that the stars aligned.

@DT2ComicsChat To each his own, but I just can't even imagine anyone picking the Titans version.

#Batman🦇 I'm not saying you can't like who you like, because of course you can BUT all of these iterations are not on the same level. #SorryNotSorry

@DT2ComicsChat I just want to know if you think Robert Lowery's ghost still haunts the Louisiana Bordello where his bullet riddled body was found.

How did we go from talking about the strafing run and the bombing to "Nope again" roof fight? My original statement is that Keaton's Batman didn't directly kill Joker. Not that he didn't try. He literally says "I'm going to kill you." to Joker on that bell tower scene. But he didn't kill him. Joker's actions resulted in his own death, just like Penguin's actions resulted in his own death in the sequel. Batman may have wanted to eventually kill Joker, but he didn't.

#Fandom🤓 "I can't kill him, or I'll become him. So we have to let him keep mass murdering women and children and incarcerate him into a place that keeps letting him out." 😐 Except for Keaton.🦇

@J_Stobrimore Nope again. Batman straight up throws the black thug to his death, and Batman straight up knocked the Joker off the tower. He had no idea Joker would land on the ledge below and reach up and grab him and Vicki.

It's the equivalent of shooting at someone's feet or into the air to get them to run away. The intent is intimidation. It's a threat. And the intent with the bomb was to destroy the factory, not to kill Joker. If Joker happened to die in the explosion, it's a bonus, but the objective was to end and destroy the production of the Joker serum that was being mixed into the commercial products.
