@Luke1990W Yup I was watching in coat and badge in Putney and there were thousands until about 2am

Firstly after the 2021 CL final while still in Covid restrictions it was mayhem around Stanford bridge same after Bolton in 2005. It’s undoubted that Arsenal have the biggest fanbase in London itself but globally it’s extremely close

Do you think Arsenal are a bigger club than Chelsea? 👀 @FCMPod
English

I agree with Mayowa and a bit with Fuad but I also think it’s because chelsea were consistently winning trophies for 20 years also we won our 2nd CL during the pandemic.. that’s arsenal’s first title in 22 years of course everywhere was going to be locked off

there’s men who haven’t spoken about football since the obama administration celebrating arsenal but it’s women everyone wants to come for
BIG SHO 🇻🇨@ShoShallow
Bare you girls on ere are just Arsenal fans for the attention and engagement
English

@eljoyce_ Arsenal have loads of fans and a massive fanbase but supporting Arsenal is like an accessory for some people now like wearing louboutins or a gucci bag people I’ve never seen talk about Arsenal now and making it their whole personality. Probs don’t even know who Ian Wright is
English

@BlueBlood2510 I’ve seen loads in the last few weeks but I agree I’ve no idea where a lot of these people were 5 years ago. Not doubting they have a loyal fanbase but so much about them is manufactured and gimmicky
English

Lots of Arsenal fans I know who have been there through thick and thin that I congratulated but they have an awful lot of the ‘this means more’ brigade and people that don’t like football but suddenly have made supporting Arsenal their whole personality that massively grates

I think my main takeaway today is that I feel for proper old school Arsenal fans who have been going for 10+ years. I've never seen such weird behaviour at selhurst than I saw today. Fully grown adults behaving like just complete freaks. Thank god I don't support such a club
English

@jamalthetenth Not one thing I’ve wanted to happen this season has materialised so I’m already resigning myself. Would be far worse than them winning the league for me
English

Even Arsenal fans have had enough of Arsenal fans!!!

Parade might have to get swerved
English

@jamalthetenth I’d 100% be doing the same. Next Saturday has the prospect of being my worst ever day watching football

If you want to really reset a culture, the untouchable should be the manager. No one else.
Everyone will need to prove themselves - as characters and as players. A lot of players have gotten off scot free with zero accountability. That must change.
Rob@journalism_rp
Who would be your untouchables? I think the fanbase is probably pretty unanimous on Estêvão, Levi Colwill, Reece James, João Pedro and Moises Caicedo. Anyone else genuinely at that point yet?
English

@Luke1990W I think Alonso is doing an awful lot of heavy lifting; I think most people will go into next season with some optimism we are four or five players away from being a good side and I think he’s the man but this season has been totally miserable and we all need a break
English

@Luke1990W I get the argument but I do love watching Chelsea (aside from the last few months) and also you get some great aways in the lower European comps. Your city or Arsenal away in both first rounds of the cups like 2022/23 to have literally nothing to look forward too
