As social restrictions ease, we're starting to host more events around Derbyshire. This Sunday we're at the lovely surroundings of Elvaston Castle Country Park. derwentvalleyorienteers.org.uk #returntoorienteering

And we're doing an informal summer league using the MapRun courses. Every 2 weeks, take part in a named course to score points. First up, Wirksworth.

The British Schools Score Orienteering Championships are coming to Derbyshire! We are hosting these on 10 October and invite teachers everywhere to enter. Schools can enter teams from Years 5 to 13, and children have 45 minutes to find as many checkpoints as they can.

Note that free parking for Linacre is at Holmebrook Valley Park S41 8XP, off B6051 Newbold Road, with a short minibus transfer. Start is v close to the minibus drop-off point.
