In een persbericht roept hij kiezers op om LFI-kandidaat Omar Yaqoob te steunen, die het opneemt tegen de zittende burgemeester Sophie Dhoury-Lehner (Socialistische Partij).

Het is een chaos in de gemeenteverkiezingen in Frankrijk. lijstverbindingen worden her en der gemaakt, (LFI + PS) maar velen in de PS lijst zijn het er daar niet mee eens en trekken zich terug. In straatsburg waar er een lijstverbinding is tussen PS en de Macronie, wordt zwaar bekritiseerd door de top van de PS, de republikeinen hebben ook al enkele van deze lijstverbinders de partij uitgeflikkerd.
Zelf de PS zelf is tegen lijstverbindingen met LFI, maar op lokaal niveau "sja dat is een technische verbinding" , alles wordt weer uit de kast getrokken om de kiezer het nakijken te geven. Godschandalig kiezersbedrog.
