Yesterday, Deerfield 13G Head Coach Brad Schwind and the team took in a tour at the Louisville Slugger Muesum and attended a Louisville Bats minor league baseball game. Good luck to the Warriors as they play in their season-ending tournament starting this morning! #RunTheField

Congratulations to the 12R and 14R teams for capturing the Wooden Bat Tournament Championship on Sunday in Deerfield. Head coach Mike Irvine and 12R defeated the Diamond Dawgs 11-4 at Jewett 2 while across the field, Dan Mayer and 14R defeated Lake in the Hills 3-2. #RunTheField

DEERFIELD 9R CAPTURES SILER STAR WOODEN BAT TOURNAMENT Deerfield 9R takes 1st place in the 9A division of the Vernon Hills Silver Star Wooden Bat Tournament. Deerfield went 4-0 on the weekend, taking out the Western Springs Blue Crush 8-1 in the title game. #RunTheField

RANGERS WIN MUSTANG SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP AT JEWETT PARK Congratulations to the Rangers for winning the DYBA Mustang Softball Championship in a 9-8 victory over the Blue Jays in front of a jam packed crowd at Jewett Park under the lights. #RunTheField

On Monday there were over 30 young players who came out to watch the @DFH_Softball game. Every girl received a ball signed by each of the DHS players. The girls in the stands were dressed in their jerseys and all their cheering brought a new level of energy to the game! #RTF 🥎

Coach Mike Irvine and 12R won their season opener 8-4 against Elk Grove. Alex Edgar collected 2 hits, 1 RBI, and 1R scored. Sam Nagler and Will Grey pitched a combined 6 innings giving up 4 hits and 4 runs, striking out 4.

Last week, veteran head coach Paul Chanan and 9R opened at home with a hard fought 6-5 W over a strong Schaumburg Flyers squad. It was great to be back at Woodland Park with the Warriors to start their season!
